More crafts activities at Domaine Val des Près

The Entreprendre Au Feminin Ocean Indien Seychelles (EFOI), a group of artisans from the Rodrigues Regional Assembly visited Seychelles from 22nd to 31st March 2025. The team was headed by Ms Marie Joelle Perine, an Industrial Analyst from the Regional Assembly who sponsored the cultural exchange programme.

On the 25th and the 26th of March, 2025, they conducted a workshop of macrame, recycled cloth bags, hats and bags made out of natural fibre, embroidery and crochet at the Domaine Val des Près, Au Cap. There were different group activities with the participation of participants who usually show up for Grandma’s Savoir Faire.

EFOI is a member of the Indian Ocean Regional Women Entrepreneurs Platform under the patronage of the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) and the Department of Gender, Health and Governance. Launched in 2007, each member state of the Indian Ocean Commission is part of it, including Rodrigues.
